Terms of Use
Last updated 7 October 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of limber.co.nz. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
These terms cover the website only. If you become a Limber member, your relationship with us is governed by your Membership, Product and Layby Agreement, not by this page. Where the two differ, your agreement wins.
2. Who we are
Limber is a brand of Limber Autocare Limited, company number 9382279, NZBN 9429053226570, Level 6, Building A, 167 Victoria Street West, Auckland 1010. You can reach us at hi@limber.co.nz.
3. What this site is for
This site explains what Limber does, shows what a plan might cost, and lets you start an application or send us an enquiry.
Nothing on this site is financial advice. We are not recommending that Limber is right for your circumstances, and we do not take your wider financial position into account when we show you a price. If you want advice about your finances, speak to someone qualified to give it.
4. Prices and estimates
Any price, quote or estimate shown on this site is indicative. It is based on the information you give us and on information about your vehicle from third parties, and it is not an offer.
The amounts in an actual plan can differ from an estimate shown here, because the cost of the things a plan covers is set by the provider who supplies them or by statute, and those costs change over time. What you would actually pay, and how it can change, is set out in the membership agreement, and we show it to you before you sign anything.
5. Vehicle information
Where you enter a registration plate, we retrieve information about that vehicle from third party data sources. That information comes from records we do not control and can be out of date or incomplete. We use reasonable care in using it, but we do not warrant that it is accurate, and you should not rely on it to work out whether your vehicle is road legal. Keeping your vehicle compliant remains your responsibility.
Only enter the details of a vehicle you own or are otherwise entitled to enquire about.
6. Using the site properly
Please do not:
- use the site for anything unlawful, or to harm or mislead anyone
- try to reach any part of the site, or any system connected to it, that you are not meant to reach
- interfere with the site’s operation, introduce malicious code, or place an unreasonable load on it
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or data from the site
- copy or reuse our content except as section 7 allows
We may restrict or withdraw access to the site from anyone who does any of these things.
7. Our content
The content of this site, including its text, images, design, and the Limber name and logo, belongs to us or to the people we have licensed it from. You may read it, and print or share a copy for your own personal use. Anything beyond that needs our written permission.
8. Other people’s sites
Where we link to another website, we do it for convenience. We do not control those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or for how they handle your information.
9. Availability
We would like the site to be available and correct at all times, but we do not promise that it will be. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
10. Our responsibility to you
We take care with this site, but we provide it as it is.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss you suffer from using the site or relying on anything on it, including any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, the Privacy Act 2020, or any other New Zealand consumer protection law that cannot be contracted out of.
If you use this site for the purposes of a business, the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, and sections 9 to 13 of the Fair Trading Act do not apply, to that use. You agree this exclusion is fair and reasonable.
11. Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page. Using the site after we change them means you accept the change.
13. New Zealand law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
